Recipe by Lorac
This is a recipe from 1937! I love this dish because it reminds me of my grandmothers cooking. Simple ingredients - simply cooked and my "Nana" was the best cook in the whole world.

I served this as part of a good old country dinner for my grandson & he thinks that his "nana" is the best cook in the whole world! I didn't change a thing & it was absolutely delicious. Thanx Lorac!
