I made these for my mother's surprise birthday party. As another reviewer said the amount of sugar was too much. I will cut it in half next time I make them.<br/><br/>The dough did not come together for me either, but I kept adding water until it did. Rolling the dough thin enough, was a workout in itself. Very tough to do. I had wonton wrappers in the refrigerator and decided to use them for the remainder of the cheese mixture. I took a large biscuit cutter and cut through the wrappers to make them round. Then I put them under moist paper towels so they wouldn't dry out. The wrappers make a very delicate pierogi.<br/><br/>The farmer's cheese is well worth the price.
I followed the recipe mostly, but instead of a 1/4 cup of sugar, I used an 1/8 cup.
The dough did not come together and I had to look elsewhere for a recipe after waisting the supplies I had used in the first dough attempt.
The filling was not my favoriet, way too sweet even with using 1/2 the sugar. Next time I will just use farmer's cheese and the new dough recipe I found.
*Make sure you roll the dough REALLY thin or it is horrible.
Goona say this was great!!! Gonna make again soon but please note farmers cheese is a little pricey but worth it!
