These taste really good dropped into homemade chicken soup.
- 4 eggs
- 4 tablespoons melted butter or 4 tablespoons margarine
- 1 cup farina (not instant, or quick cooking)
- salt (to taste)
- Beat eggs well.
- Add melted butter, or margarine.
- Add farina and salt.
- Mix at least 1 hour before using.
- Drop by teaspoonful into boiling broth.
- Lower heat to simmer.
- Cover and cook without lifting cover for at least 20 minutes.
