A nice, easy, lowfat chili. I made this as written, just adding about a tsp or two of cumin to pick up the chili flavor. I liked it but next time I would add some diced tomatoes because even though there was a can of crushed tomatoes in this, they seemed to get lost among everything else. The red wine vinegar was a nice touch. Thanx for posting this!

This really is fantastic chili--very flavorful and satisfying!! I found this recipe at allrecipes.com a few years ago and have made it several times since. The only thing I change is the vinegar--I use balsamic vinegar instead of red wine vinegar (one of the reviewers at allrecipes.com suggested this, and it works beautifully). This is definitely a winner!! Thanks for posting, senseicheryl!!

Liked this very much. Added some cumin and corn kernels. Some of us had it with sour cream. Others added grated cheddar cheese.
