I made this recipe in a slow cooker and substituted pre cooked beef brisket for the bacon. Mmmm. Doubled the recipe for a picnic and it was a HUGE hit. Best tasting beans I've ever had!
- 2 (31 ounce) cansbush's baked beans
- 1 tablespoon Coleman's dry mustard (or more if you like it)
- 1⁄4 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄4 cup molasses
- 1 small onion, diced
- 8 slices maple bacon
