  2. I just made this and we really enjoyed it;I had no cashews so I used almonds and did not add the bacon. I will be making this one again,Thanks for sharing.

  3. I made this lastnight to take to a dinner and everyone loved it. It was quick and easy to make, and tasted wonderful. I didn't have any bacon on hand, but I will definitely try it next time. Thanks for the great recipe.

  4. I concur with other reviewers. These are great beans, and so pretty too. I skipped the bacon, and used regular frozen cut green beans. Wonderful!!

  5. Sugarpea is correct; these are awesome and make a beautiful presentation. I used frozen French cut beans. I chopped the bacon and then cooked it until crisp, drained the bacon fat off and cooked the onions, peppers and garlic in the pan. The pan was seasoned enough to cook the onions and peppers providing a nice flavor without added fat.

I was one of the original members of Recipezaar that was truly a community of individuals that enjoyed each other in forums and chat rooms. I've been a member of this site since 2003. Made some tremendous friends that I still think of often. I'll continue coming here because my recipes are here and so many more that I tried over the years as a member. It's just a tad boring now and just another recipe site like all the rest. Sad.
