What's not to love about this chicken! I sprayed with cooking spray instead of using the butter to cut down on the fat, but we loved it just the same!

The first chicken recipe that DH did not complain of dryness. Totally worth the bit of work involved. I don't think I could do "plain" baked chicken again after trying this!

Delicious way to bake chicken. I used Ritz crackers and garlic powder and dotted the chicken with dabs of the butter before baking. Leftover chicken is great cold in kaiser bun with lettuce and mayonnaise.

Wow! This chicken dish is just amazing! I made it just as written, except I baked it in a dish on the BBQ because it is so hot here tonight. It was moist and delicious, and will be on my regular rotation now! Thanks MarieAlice!

This is a well written recipe that was easy to follow and quick to prepare. It uses ingredients that I always have on hand. I added a little less butter than it called for and added a little paprike to the ritz cracker crumbs. The end result was a very moist, tender and delicious chicken entree. Thanks for sharing your recipe MaryAlice!

This recipe was pretty good! I didn't have RITZ crackers, so I used saltines, but both my hubby and even my picky daughter liked it! I'll definitely add this to my rotation. Although, I felt it needed a little something. Maybe I need to add a little more salt and pepper next time. Thanks for the recipe!

This recipe is wonderful. I used the new Ritz Crackers with Garlic. It was easy and very tasty, my family said it's keeper. Thanks for posting it, I served it with another wonderful recipe, baked potatoe wedges by dj101, great combination!

Great recipe! So easy to make. I used italian bread crumbs because I didn't have the crackers on hand. Will make again.

This chicken had an excellent flavor and was very moist. I added extra seasonings (paprika, onion powder, etc.) to the cracker crumbs, skipped the egg (rinse your chicken breast with water to help hold the coating), and used less butter. I served with some sauteed vegetables (onion, peppers, mushrooms, zucchini in a little olive oil...and a couple of large spoonfuls of my homemade salsa at the end), and crusty rolls. Husband loved it. He commented that in cooler weather it would be great with a side of alfredo pasta or mashed potatoes. The bonus for me was that this was so easy.

Very good and quick. Followed the recipe as written except that I turned the chicken over for the last 10 minutes of cooking time.

VERY quick and easy. My husband really liked it . . . he actually said it was really good. Usually he eats then goes back to the activity of the day. I've never thought to use crackers for a crust. The butter kept it from drying out. Thanks for the recipe!

I used Ritz crackers to make mine and the chicken was so moist and tender. The coating on the outside was crunchy and very tasty. We all loved it and will be having it again soon!

Fantastic recipe. Chicken was moist, as promised. Next time I will toss some grated parmesan in with the cracker crumbs to give it a little extra zip. Also, I will cut the amount of butter in half as 1/4 cup would probably be sufficient. This one goes on our regular menu rotation. Thanks for posting this one, MarieAlice!

The simplicity of the recipe is amazing! I threw it together in less than 5 minutes. I didn't have garlic salt so used Onion powder and added a tsp of dried Oregano. Also used a 3 lbs chicken which had been cut up. I reduced the butter to 2 tbs as I didn't want THAT much butter in the dish. It was delicious!!! Keeper!

This was very simple to make, but I expected more flavor. Maybe next time I will add more garlic.

Excellent, moist chicken with good flavor. Everyone enjoyed it, even the kids! Used Keebler Toasteds buttercrisp crackers cause it's what I had in the pantry. Nice that the recipe uses ingredients always on hand. I worried a bit about using this much butter but it wasn't greasy at all and the coating was perfect. Thanks, MarieAlice, for another wonderful recipe that I'll use often!

This was super easy to make, not to mention quick!! I ended up using Captain's Wafers crackers, since that was all I had. My only complaint was that the butter made the bottom of the chicken coating kind of soggy, but it didn't really affect the taste. Overall a good recipe...I'm sure I'll make it again.
