- 8 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
- 3⁄4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup salted peanuts, chopped
- lemon juice
- Blend together cream cheese, brown sugar, vanilla and peanuts.
- Serve with sliced apples that have been dipped in lemon juice to prevent browning.
I have made this a few times now. Everyone thinks it is made with caramels. We love it with crisp, tart apples and even cinnamon grahams. Yummy. I have made it with and without the nuts and like both ways equally well. Thanks for a great recipe!
The nuts should be chopped imo as well. But is it ever good!
I chopped the peanuts real small and served this with apples, fresh strawberries and celery sticks. Very easy to make and very good! I will make this again!
