So quick and easy. I did kick it up with a sprinkle of habanero flakes. Served with tomatillo salsa, cheese and fresh sliced tomatoes. Made for ZWT #8 Lively lemon Lovelies.
Loved this recipe! I made as written using most of the optional garnishes and chowed down to the easiest fajitas I have ever made. Great flavour and really simplified method. As a personal preference I would also use more onion in the future but these were still a winner. Thanks for sharing. Made for The Bistro Babes - ZWT 8
Absolutely fabulous, quick to make and flavorful. I put a dry rub on the meat to start with, i like extra spice but otherwise did as directed. It was nice not having to fuss with guacomole to, but still had the buttery flavor.
Very good and easy! I skipped the avocado but adding everythign else. I also used some green bell pepper, too. Delish!
This was very easy to prepare and the flavor was quite good. It is still missing a key ingredient though and I just can't put my finger on it. I will try adding a bit of chili powder and Mexican oregano the next time I make this to see if that could be it. As far as fajita recipes, this is the best one I have tried so far...I think the added cornstarch helps since it thickens the sauce which allows it to cling to the meat and vegetables more. So easy to put together on a weeknight when we had too much to do. Loved the flavor! The lime juice gives it a nice zest I think. I ended up subbing ranch dip for the sour cream (I always have sour cream, but not last night). Zapped the tortillas in the microwave for about 30 seconds. Dinner was served. DH thought these were pretty great too. I'll use more onion next time just as a personal preference. Thanks Lynn. Made the US Regional Alphabet Tag Game!
This was very easy to make and tasted Yummy~
