This a a great chocolate flavor and it ended up giving me a lovely finished product, but unless I did something wrong (which is entirely possible) this was more like a glaze than a spreadable icing. I ended up pouring it over the cake . Also I used large marshmallows cut in half, but they took a little longer than I would have expected to totally melt. You might want to leave the heat on for a minute or two after adding the marshmallows.
This was really delicious.I used it for the hoho cake recipe. I melted dark chocolate candy, and it was still the best. Thanks for posting....
WOW! Surprisingly rich and creamy icing! A chocolate lover's delight. Definately adding this one to my recipe box. I only had bittersweet and unsweetened squares on hand, so I used what I had and added more powdered sugar to taste. It didn't seem to make a difference. Very easy and doesn't talk alot of time.
