    Old widow's Note:

    This is my Aunts fudge recipe that she gave to my mother some years ago. I have always made this at Christmas. It freezes well and is a great addition to the Christmas cookie tray and pretty easy to whip together.

    Directions:

      On stovetop, in heavy saucepan combine water and sugar, boil for 3 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter and marshmallow creme. With electric mixer, beat until thick. Pour into buttered 8 inch square pan. Cool and cut into squares.
