Tried this recipe last weekend for grilling boneless skinless chicken breasts. Absolutely the best marinade I've ever used! I used Old Bay seasoning and combined it with all ingredients but the cider vinegar in my itty bitty processor, blended it , then scooped it into a container, added the vinegar and gave it a good shake. I added the chicken to the marinade the night before we planned to grill, reserved some of the liquid for basting. The finished product was like nothing we'd tried before. The vinegar gave it an excellent tang and we liked it so much we're thinking about a repeat performance this weekend. Possibly with pork shoulder blade steak. I'll get back to you! Thanks for a really good, easy recipe!

I was super skeptical about this at first. The marinade looks and smells AWFUL. I almost didn't make it. As it was baking in the oven it smelled just as bad. I'm assuming it's the vinegar. But when it did finish it was awesome. Super flavorful and it all just melds together. I will absolutely use this again.

Yum! Made exactly as directed except my garlic was green so I used 1t of garlic powder instead. Marinated chicken breasts 8 hours and everyone LOVED! Next time I will try cutting the oil in half. Thanks for sharing!

Best marinade ever! I used Old Bay and added a little brown sugar but kept the rest the same. The most tender, flavorful chicken I have ever had. I am not the biggest Old Bay fan but in this it was delicious! I always mix up another half of the recipe ( without the egg) to baste with/ pour a little on when it's done. Super delicious! Thanks =)

I used thighs and legs and let them sit in the marinade for almost 24 hours. We then cooked these on the grill. I followed the recipe as written except that I used canola oil instead of vegetable. I also used the Old Bay. We thought the marinade gave the skin a great taste but it didn't permeate the meat as I would have liked. My family still put bbq sauce on the meat to give it more flavor.

Prepared this last night for a family dinner party, followed recipe exactly as written and it was a huge hit. I used chicken quarters and cooked them with indirect heat on my smoker. Served with grilled chayote squash and bok choy slaw. The chicken got rave reviews. Thanks for the great recipe.

I've tried countless marinades for my chicken over the years, and this recipe is by far the best i've ever used. Everybody compliments this recipe. Try it and you will see why.
