Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350.
  2. Grease cookie sheets.
  3. Cream together the shortening and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs beating well then stir in the vanilla and sour milk.
  5. Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
  6. Gradually stir into the creamed mixture.
  7. Stir in the rolled oats and your choice of walnuts, raisins or chocolate chips.
  8. Drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheets.
  9. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
