Made for Zaar Chef Alphabet Soup tag game and used this on some chicken. I did cut the recipe in half and used a little more garlic and onion powder. Thank you for posting the recipe. Will be using this again.
This makes a wonderful, all-purpose seasoning! I used it on pork chops and on some succotash and it was great! Thanks for posting. Made for Football Pool 2012.
I will assign stars later on as I did not yet taste this recipe. I made it for a friend as a gift and hope to hear back from her soon how she enjoyed this mix.
I think the mix of spicy pepper with onion and garlic as well as the seasoning salt sounds very promising and versatile. From what I smelled while making this mix, I think it will be a hit.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing your recipe here with us, AZ!
Made and reviewed for the Aussie/NZ Recipe Swap #48 January 2010.
Update: Im very late in reporting this, but my friend totally enjoyed this seasoning! She said it was very well balanced and great with almost everything. So, thank you again for sharing such a keeper!
Wonderful mix of spices!! I scaled it back for 2 chicken breasts and we devoured them. I will be using this mix often. Made for Zaar Hits 1-2-3 Tag Game 2011.
Sorry, but I was kinda disappointed with this. Tried it on a steak & it seemed like it was missing something. Guess I'll stick to my old standby that I make. Thanks anyway!
Wow this is one flavorful seasoning!!! I scaled back the amounts to 1/2 of the recipe and then we seasoned our steaks the other night with it. DH and I both thought that this brought a ton of added flavor and loved the change compared to our normal seasoning (seasoned salt, sea salt and pepper). This would be great on burgers, chicken and most grilled meats!!! Thanks for sharing the recipe. Made for Everyday is a Holiday Tag.
