Okay ~ I was skeptical to say the least ~ I tagged this recipe especially for DH. Just made it and it's in the freezer, so 'not complete' yet, but the taste test is great ~ smooth creamy and delicious. This might be a new favorite for us ! Will post after the DH tastes it! UPDATE: Got home hoping to have a taste of the frozen version and there was NONE - ZIP - NADA left. So DH gave this the big *5* and ate it all himself. Thanks twissis ~ a definite new keeper. Mmmm this is my new favorite dessert! After I whipped the ingredients togther, I put it back into the halved avocado skin and sprinkled shaved dark chocolate on top. Will be making again!!!

This was quite good. I have spent a couple of summers in Brazil, and they make a dessert that is similar, only no ice cream in it. I wish I had used two avocados, as I think mine wasn't large enough - I think I would have liked it more avocado-ey. This was really just two servings, even though it's rich. I think it would make a great filling for crisp little tart shells.
