These were very good. I used 1 1/2 cups of chopped apples and 1/2 cup of chopped cranberries. I also added some chrystalized ginger nibs. I made them in large muffin pans so I baked them about 30 min. Really tastey.
Added walnuts in with the batter.
Great muffins! I added in some walnuts to the topping with great results. Just make sure you chop them finely! Yum yum!
Yummy! I used Haralson apples from a local orchard. I didn't change a thing...will make these often, thanks!
Used Macs in these muffins with great success. Il loved them slathered with butter! What a way to wake up! I froze some to have later on in the next few weeks. Thanks!
Made them this morning and actually wasn't sure how they would turn out, considering I had hardly any butter or brown sugar! I had to substitute the 1/2 cup melted butter in the batter with 1/2 melted golden crisco, and the brown sugar in the batter was 1/2 white sugar. They were still excellent! So I can only assume they will be even better the next time with real butter and all brown sugar.
I added finely chopped walnuts to the topping mixture and they were gobbled up in no time by my grandchildren and I for breakfast this morning. They were moist and full of flavor. I love anything with cinnamon and apples, so I knew this would be a muffin I would really like, and I was right!
These are fantastic. They are moist and flavorful. You don't even have to butter them before eating. Thanks for a great recipe!
I made this for breakfast today and they were very quick to put together. I didnt have a lot of brown sugar so i used white sugar in the muffins and they turned out very yummy and juicy. But i didnt care for the topping too much and i think i wont be making it next time. Plus the muffins are equally delicious without it.
Yummy muffins! I only used one cup of brown sugar in the batter and they were still pretty sweet. I also added a teaspoon of cinnamon to the batter as well. The only thing I'd complain about is I had a LOT of topping left over. Maybe half it next time!
