These are terrific muffins! They're moist, tasty and smell wonderful while baking. I made them exactly as the recipe states. Thanks so much Pamela for a recipe that I'll be making on a regular basis!
I accidentally forgot to put the sugar in the muffin mixture, and they were a little bit floury but still delicious. Can't wait to try them again--the right way. Someone who doesn't like them so sweet could try leaving out some or all of the sugar, but omit 1/4-1/2 cup of the flour if you do.
There were excellent! I doubled the recipe and got 36 muffins (i put 1/4 cup of batter into each tin). The 20 minute baking time was perfect for my oven. I took them to a breakfast meeting at work and everyone loved them. Thanks, Pam, for posting a great recipe. Sue
Easy to make, easier to eat! Even though there is quite a bit of sugar in these, it is not an overly sweet muffin. Followed directions to a T, and they turned out perfect. I deliver meals to elderly housebound--they will love these delicious homemade treats. Thank you for brightening up their day.
I give this one a five star also. I when by the directions and they turned out great! What a wonderful smell they left in my house. I really like apples and this hit the spot.
Made these today to take to welcome our new neighbors. A great fall treat. I made as directed except I added about a teaspoon of cinnamon and 1/4 teaspoon of allspice just to give the batter some more apple pie flavor. Great recipe. Thanks!

Absolutely DELICIOUS!! These are soft, wonderfully moist and yummy, yummy, yummy!! My little girl and I had a great time baking these yesterday...she especially liked sprinkling the topping on them!(and licking the bowl of course!!:) ) I used a tablespoon of lemon juice to make my buttermilk but other than that followed this easy recipe exactly.They smell awesome while baking and taste even better! These rank among the best muffins I have ever made! Thank you so much Pamela, this is a definite keeper!
