Cook Time:
A sweet salad traditionally served in Mexico for Christmas or New Year's Eve dinner as one of many desserts. Kids love it. Any apple works fine, but I prefer crunchy apples that aren't too sweet or tart such as Gala or Golden Delicious.
Directions:
1
Combine all the ingredients except reserved syrup in a large bowl. Add syrup to taste if the salad looks too dry. Refrigerate for 30 minutes and serve.
Ratings & Reviews:
This salad is light and flavorful. Its even better if made a little early for the flaors to blend. Thanks for sharing

We enjoyed this, but it made A TON. And it wasn't as good after 2 days so I'd recommend making as much as you think your family could eat in a day or 2. (I had made it for lunches but that didn't work as well.) That said, it had great flavor. I used fat free sour cream with no issue and it was a nice easy way to enjoy some fruit.
