I just found this and haven't had a chance to try it yet but it sure looks interesting.
- 3⁄4 cup water
- 1 1⁄2 tablespoons light rum
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups bread flour
- 2 1⁄2 teaspoons bread machine yeast
- Place all ingredients in your machine in the order recommended by your machine's manufacturer.
- Select the Sweet or Basic/White cycle and press start.
The texture of the bread is good. But somehow I find this bread too sweet. Maybe 1/4 cup of sugar would be enough. They have a subtle taste of rum, not too much. I rolled the dough in a rectangle to create small breads. Thanks Annacia :) Made for Photo tag
