Enchilada Style Burritos

These burritos are better than any enchiladas I have ever gotten in a resturant. They have an authentic mexican flavor.

This is excellent! I omitted the salt, used only half the margarine, low-sodium V8 juice, and nonfat Kraft cheddar cheese. I used a 9x13-inch pan. When you first make the sauce and pour it over them, you think it's too much sauce. It isn't.

  1. Brown hamburger and add salt, pepper and chopped onion.
  2. Drain fat and add refried beans.
  3. Spoon mixture onto 7 inch flour tortillas, roll up and place burritos in baking dish.
  4. Melt together butter and flour.
  5. Add onion powder, garlic powder, chili powder, V-8 juice and water.
  6. Bring to a boil and pour over burritos and top with grated cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake at 350 until cheese melts and sauce bubbles (20 to 30 minutes).
  8. Top with shredded lettuce.
