Empty Bowl Salad (Because It Will Be)

We had this recipe for a Summer get together at our cottage, people were licking the bowl to get the last of the salad it is that good, Enjoy

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 12 cups of sliced up mushrooms (or to taste)
  • 1 head broccoli, cut up and uncooked (or to taste)
  • 1 medium red onion, chopped (or to taste)
  • 12 cup chopped pecans (or nut of your choice)
  • 1 pint of sliced strawberry
  • 4 ounces feta cheese, crumbled could also use bleu cheese
  • Dressing (salad dressing should be put on right before serving)

  • 1 cup oil (canola not olive oil)
  • 12 cup red wine vinegar
  • 12 cup sugar
  • 13 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon tarragon

Directions

  1. In a bowl of Mixed Greens assemble the salad and mix the dressing, put the dressing on right before serving and enjoy! Pecans, strawberries and cheese should be put on right before serving. This salad is very versatile, Amounts are approximate as it is really to individual taste. Substitute other vegetables or cheese.
