- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 2 egg yolks
- 1⁄4 cup water
- cornstarch, to prevent dough from sticking
- oil (for deep frying)
directions
- Sift together flour, walt, and sugar. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine egg yolks, water, and cooking oil.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Mix thoroughly.
- Knead until dough is smooth and satiny.
- Cover and let rest for 1 hour.
