Em and Mommy's Need It Fast Smoothie

"After dinner I promised my 2 year old daughter a smoothie and made one I had tagged for one of the recipe games. Unfourtunately it was bitter and undrinkable. My daughter got hysterical (lack of a nap today probably had something to do with that!) and begged me to make another one. So this is what we threw together. It is thick and creamy."

  1. I made a single serving today using the new Jello single serving instant jello packet. Although it was simple and so easy to make, the taste wasn't memorable. So, I won't make this again. It wasn't bad but I won't be craving this recipe when I want a smoothie.

  2. Loved the idea of using pudding mix to sweeten this what a lovely mid-morning snack, personally I would have liked it a little sweeter but this was perfect for toddler DD.

  3. fantastic. subbed cheesecake flavored pudding, and only used strawberries, but the consistency was perfect.

  4. Made this using vanilla soy milk. I agree with JQ, thick, rich, sugar-free--it has it all. Thanks so much!

  5. This drink is so thick and rich, but no sugar...what more could you ask for.??? Made exactly as directed and will be making often.
