      My husband thought this was a silly cake when I baked it for a party. But, after the first bite he was trying to get everyone to eat another dessert so that he could take this one home for himself. Didn't work though, it was gone in a flash.

      I had a slice of an Elvis Presley Cake at a restaurant recently and it was delicious. When I read the total number of carbs in this recipe for a slice, 92.5 g., I could not believe the amount but I decided that I would bake this one anyway, and try not remember the amount of carbs because it is so delicious!!!

      I made this cake for my Dad who the official Elvis impersonator for his hometown in Florida. :) He loved it and it has since become a family favorite of ours. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

      We omitted the cream cheese and powdered sugar topping....and it was very good even without it! We will make it again the same way as we did this time. Thanks for the recipe!

      Loved this cake!! The only problem I had was that I used a supermoist cake, and it got a little too moist. I put the glaze in a baggie, cut off the corner, and piped the glaze on. Looks very pretty that way. Next time I will use a drier cake mix and it should turn out perfectly. I can't wait for an occasion to make this again! Thanks Guava girl!! YUM!!
