This pie crust can be made and frozen for later use.
- 4 1⁄4 cups flour
- 1 3⁄4 cups shortening
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons salt
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 egg
- 1⁄2 cup water (7 Tbs)
- Combine flour, shortening, sugar and salt with a fork.
- In a seperate bowl, combine vinegar, egg and water.
- Combine all ingredients until moist.
- Chill at least 15 minutes.
- Roll out into 2 circles if using immediately and bake according to pie's directions.
