Aparently My Mom and I cooked the cookies together but i was telling her the instructions on somehow messed her up.....So i messed up the cookies. some are sweet and some are just so ugh. But they are very easy to make and very yummy for my tummy :D

Have to agree with another review that these were just unusable. Completely unable to be rolled out--no matter how much flour you add to the board or rolling pin. I even put flour in the cutters. Impossible to use. I ended up adding tons of flour and trying again after half an hour in the fridge--still unable to use--and now they just tasted like a lump of flour. Needless to say I tossed the thin sticky mess and will go try to find a recipe elsewhere.
I didn't like the turnout. The dough is easy to work with but the flavor and texture was like chalk. I used blue bonnet butter I wonder if that was the mistake. Maybe I'll try again using a different brand. Any suggestions?
I really loved this recipe! It wasn't what I expected it to be. Usually I use cut out recipes that require sitting in the fridge for 2 hours. I did not have time for this, so I whipped these up. The dough was not a consistent roll out dough. It was a sticky dough. I floured the surface very well, and then added a little flour in top of the dough. It was not ideal to work with, but the taste of the dough was incredibly delicious. Before and after baking. Most of my other sugar cookie recipes taste like chalk. This was so yummy! If you can, take a little time to work with the dough, use floured utensils to cut and transfer the cutouts onto your baking sheet, and don't take them off the tray until they are done cooling. My new favorite sugar cookie! Food.com you've done it again!

Thank you thank you thank you for posting this recipe. I have searched high and low for a good recipe for sugar cookies and stumbled onto your recipe. Although I didn't use this recipe to cut my cookies into shapes. I just wanted a recipe for fluffy sugar cookies and tried this. The first time I used this recipe it was really quick, and the cookies came out just right. With the perfect combination of really fluffy and crunchy. :)
