I am giving this 5 stars because it makes perfectly soft chewy cookies, not hard crunchy ones. I baked them for the full 10 minutes and followed the recipe exactly. The only thing I would change is the amount of cloves - I agree with those who say it's too much cloves. Thanks for the great recipe Myrna 2!
So perfect and delicious! I added 1/2 cup flour and 1/2 cup applesauce.
I had to add flour because the dough was really sticky but these are really good!!
These were the perfect texture not too hard not too soft just right! The spices were just right too.Only thing was I found the dough to be too dry so I decided to another egg yolk.I found that I had to work quickly, as the dough becomes very crumbly and breaks after being out of the fridge too long..Thanks they were very yummy and me and my little girl enjoyed making them!
Well I have to say these were sooo much fun, had some girl friends in and we made the ugliest ginerbread men you have ever seen!! hahaha! you would not believe the fun we had but none of us are great on the decorating, so we called them the attack of the grining gingerbread people, Thanks for a fun evening!!!
