  • 2 ounces herradura tequila
  • 1 ounce gran gala, your favorite liquer
  • 1 ounce Cointreau liqueur, your favorite liquer
  • 4 ounces prepared sweet-and-sour mix
  • 1 ounce orange juice
  • 1 orange slice
  • cherries

directions

  • Rim a LARGE Margarita glass with coarse salt and Fill with ice.
  • Flash blend all ingredients except for orange slice and cherry.
  • Pour into Ice Margarita glass and garnish with the orange and cherry.
  • WOW!

Tweaks

  1. I asked a bartender at Chilis about their special sweet and sour mix and the only thing she knew was that egg whites are in it. I sampled a bit of just the mix and the closest I have been able to get so far is 3 parts Sauza brand Margarita mix (This is hard to find sometimes) 1 part simple syrup and a little bit of egg white. It's not perfect but close.
