This recipe is from the archives of Pioneer Lodge, a Seniors residence. There is no suggested number of servings but I would guess apprx 6 servings. This sounds almost like a dessert salad

  1. Over low heat melt together the 7-up, marshmellows, lime jello, cream cheese, and pineapple with juice.
  2. When completely melted to gether remove from heat.
  3. Chill until it mounds.
  4. Add the miracle whip to the cream cheese mixture and stir together.
  5. Gently fold in the whipped cream.

Very good salad ,although I would consider it more of a dessert. I substituted cool whip for the whipping cream and added a cup of chopped walnuts and used a 20 oz. can of pineapple. This is a simple and delicious recipie I will be making it again!

This is indeed a desert salad, and what a delicious desert it is! My hubby thought it was just incredible. I added 1/4 cup chopped walnuts and I think that added another delicious dimension to it and I will add that to my copy of the recipe, which goes in the permanent family album :) Thanks for the delicious recipe!!

i tried this because it sounds similiar to a recipe we always had at family gatherings when i was a kid. it tasted just like it. basic ingredients, and really easy to prepare. a simple recipe, but it took me back to being a kid. i'll make it again.
