Eggnog Pound Cake

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 (16 ounce) package poundcake mix
  • 1 14 cups eggnog
  • 2 large eggs
  • 12 teaspoon nutmeg, freshly grated
  • 12 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Beat all ingredients together at low speed with an electric mixer until blended.
  3. Increase speed to medium, and beat 2 minutes.
  4. Pour into a lightly greased 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour to 1 hour and 5 mintues or until a long wooden pick inserted comes out clean.
  6. Cool in pan on a wire rack 10 minutes.
  7. Remove from pan to wire rack and cool competely (about 1 hour).
