This is an easy dish no matter how you make it, but I don't like to crunch on veggies when I eat my egg salad.
- 5 -6 large eggs (will make 2 good size sandwiches)
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1⁄4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 dash garlic salt or 1 dash celery salt
- seasoning salt
- salt and pepper
- Boil the eggs 10 minutes.
- Crack and peel.
- Mix all ingredients together.
Good recipe w/addition of onion powder. I don't like big chunks of egg so I used a metal pastry blender to finely chop the eggs and added just a dash of yellow mustard. Yum!!!
Very good recipe! I like to add a little dill to mine, too.
Good egg salad. I don't care for too much "crunch" either, so thought I would like to give this a try. Before putting on bread I tasted and felt like something was missing so added a squirt of yellow mustard. That did the trick for me. Otherwise, good alternative to egg salad. Oh, I didn't add the 3 different salts. Just a little dash of celery salt was plent for me. Thanks! Made for 2009 Spring PAC
