Egg Noodles With Brown Butter and Feta

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 lb dried egg noodles or 1 lb egg pasta
  • 12 cup butter
  • 6 ounces greek feta, crumbled


  1. Cook noodles according to package directions, until just tender.
  2. While noodles cook, melt butter in a small sauce pan over low heat until it begins to turn golden brown, about 6 minutes. Remove from heat.
  3. Spread 1/3 of noodles on a large platter and sprinkle with 1/3 of the cheese.
  4. Repeat the layering 2 more times.
  5. Pour brown butter over noodles and toss.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.

Great way to use up some leftover egg noodles I had. I also added some black olives I had hanging around to make this lovely, simple, and salty dish even more so!
