This was awesome. I have never cooked an egg in the microwave but it tasted so good. I make it easy and usually use a couple slices of deli ham instead of bacon. I also butter the muffin. This was an awesome easy recipe. Thanks.

Wonderful! less dishes to clean, and soooooo much less money to spend at MickeyD's. I added a bit of sausage, salt and pepper. I think next time I won't mix up the yolk so much, it will be more like a poached egg. Thank you for helping me spend less money by posting this recipe!

My family loved these! My daughter liked it so much she asked for one for lunch too. I vacuumed sealed and froze several to keep on hand for quick breakfasts on the go.

This is a quick, easy and healthy breakfast. With a 1 point muffing and laughing cow cheese - this is a 4 point breakfast. Add bacon and it is only 5. A great tasting breakfast bargain that is healthy and easy.

Mixed beaten egg (plus the tablespoon of water) with 1 slice of Boar's Head deli ham torn in small pieces. Cooked in microwave for 1 1/2 minutes on high. Placed on toasted English muffin. Bottom slice of muffin had mayo spread thinly. The top portion of egg mixture was covered slightly with Classico Traditional Basil Pesto spread. Yummy! Thanks for recipe.

Whoop dee dooo these are terrific!! I do not frequent McDonalds much at all but if I do I ususally get the egg muffin thing. This is far superior to it. So easy to make too. You can add anything to the egg to personalize it. And use different buns too. Doesn't have to be English muffins. So glad you posted this Devon S

These are quick and filling. I doubled the recipe, making 2 for me and hubby for a quick Saturday breakfast. I cooked the 2 eggs at once in the same cup, and sliced it in half for our separate sandwiches, using whole-wheat English muffins. Then I sprinkled the eggs with chopped cooked bacon and shredded cheese (I was out of slices!), and briefly toasted again to melt the cheese. It definitely needs a little salt & pepper. This was great paired with half a grapefruit! :)

Fabulous! Ive never made an egg in the microwave before, very nice not to have to drag out the pan and spatula. My favorite combo is egg, cheese, mustard, mayo, and ham, sausage, or bacon. When all hot and gooey it beats Mcdonalds hands down, in tste and price!!

We make egg sammies like this at work all the time except we add a Mini-Moo coffee creamer in place of the water. Yum!

This was my first attempt at microwaving eggs and it worked great! I put bacon bits in with the eggs, cooked them about 2 minutes in the microwave. I did put a little mayonaise on the muffins. Thanks for a quick yummy recipe!

I tried it and it's YUM!!! I couldn't believe it. If you've got 2 mins. then you've got a great - on the go - sandwich to eat. You can even make it at work which is just great for me. I have english muffins here. Put one egg and a slice of cheese in a baggie, bring it here and fix it up. Wonderful! Thanks for sharing!

Wow-- it does taste just like McDonald's! I had tried to create this myself, but never knew how they did the egg (I tried regular scrambled eggs, but it tasted different). I'm sure I'll be using this recipe a lot- thanks for sharing!

This was really Excellent! I usually just make them on the stove top, but I really liked how the egg turns out better in the microwave, it's alot more puffy like McDonalds. Thanks Devon S

i microwaved this with a slice of thin black forest ham all diced up in the egg and water. it took about 2 minutes. i shook it a bit after l l/2 minutes and it was done perfectly. it worked best in a ramekin the same diameter as the muffin. a small custard cup seemed to be too narrow and the egg didn't cook as evenly or quickly. this is a great recipe for school morns for my youngest two. thank you!
