This was a favorite growing up and now my daughter (5) makes them for herself all the time. We butter both sides and flip over so that each side gets toasted, only cooking long enough so that the egg is still "dippy" so she can dip her circle toast in it. I'm sure a lot of Mom's will appreciate your sharing this recipe :)

We LOVE this! ... this recipe is one of the few ways I can get my 2yr old to eat eggs. I flip the whole thing to get both sides toasted. So fun and so handy for the kids... virtually mess free!

We love this for breakfast. My kids named the circle of removed bread "the bonus round" because it's extra, and it's round. We put a little butter on it and toast it in the pan alongside the egg in the hole...it's easier than trying to remove it from the toaster!
