This is an easy and fun breakfast that anyone can make and includes only 3 ingredients.
- Cut a circle from the center of the slice of bread using an upside down glass or biscuit cutter. Butter both sides of the bread. Place in a hot skillet over low heat. Break an egg into the center hole. Cook until the egg is set, then turn and cook the other side. Serve sprinkled with salt and pepper.
- Note: While your basket's a-cookin' you can toast your circular bread piece in the skillet or toaster oven.
Great easy breakfast, I used a wholemeal/wholegrain bread and toasted one side in the pan first and then flipped and put the egg in and toasted the circle in the pan as well and used that to dipped into the runny yellow yolk yummmmm, thank you ElizabethKnicely, made for Went to Market tag game.
