- 236.59 ml cornmeal
- 118.29 ml flour
- 12.32 ml baking powder
- 2.46 ml salt
- 0.61 ml baking soda
- 4.92 ml sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 236.59 ml buttermilk
- 29.58 ml oil
directions
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Grease 9 x 9 square pan. Put pan in oven to heat. Mix dry ingredients. Beat eggs with milk and oil. Add to dry ingredients. Mix until smooth. Pour into hot pan. Bake until brown. Cut into 4 to 6 pieces. Split for Turkey and Egg Bread Sandwiches (see recipe).
