A fun way to entertain the children on a rainy day.
- Mix ingredients together, using varying amounts of dry milk for desired consistencies.
- Knead it with fingers, forming into desired shapes, adding other foods like M&M's or peanuts for eyes, mouths, etc.
- Great fun!
I finally made this today. I actually had about 1.5 lbs of PB but still followed the recipe. I thought that the version I grew up with had flour in it so I was curious how this would turn out. The texture seems fine. Warning: I recommend sifting your powdered milk. Mine came in envelopes and was rather lumpy. The lumps did not stir out. I think maybe the boxed stuff isn't as lumpy though.
I love this idea and the kids beg me to make it! The only problem is it is sooo tasty that you end up eating most of it before you get a chance to play with it!
Not sugar-laden! Thanks mrachelle87 for posting roughly the version I grew up with that was not saturated in refined sugars. (My daughter will say thank you in 20 or so years when she realizes the difference.)
