I'm sorry to say that I did not have good results with this recipe. The dough did not set up after 2 hours and was impossible to roll into balls. So I added more crushed biscuits to thicken it up and again refrigerated the dough for a few hours longer. I rolled the balls in coconut, cocoa and some in crushed walnuts. They looked just as nice as those in the photo. The flavour was okay but no one seemed to love them. I see others had success with this recipe so I don't know where I went wrong.

So easy to make, a lot of fun and fantastic results! Was taught to make this at school when I was pretty young and quite often made them with my mum at Christmas. Was scouring for this recipe, so thank you! :D They taste fantastic, have coated some in chocolate vermicelli before which works great too. :) Thanks again!

These are easy to prepare as I just mixed them all in the food processor and pulsed them. After refrigerating, forming them into balls and coating them with the toppings, I seem to prefer dessicated coconut..but cocoa is also good as it's bitter taste balances the sweetness of the truffles. They're also soft and delectable. Love the pure chocolate goodness of these. Will be storing the rest in the freezer (they're firmer there) so it can last long and I can get them anytime I have the craving. Thanks for sharing! Made for Spring PAC 2009.
