I found this in a magazine and it looked good.
- 1⁄4 cup brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 3 tablespoons sherry wine
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- Combine all ingredients in sealed Ziplock bag and marinate beef or chicken overnight.
This is a simple recipe that I have not use for years. I think I found my copy in an old Canadian Living magazine. Can't get any easier than this. This also works well over meatballs and served as an appitizer
Made this today to go on steaks- The steaks had a really sweet taste. Next time I will add more soy, a bit less brown sugar. Thanks for sharing.
I have made this twice. The first time as is with Pork all night. Came out good. The next time I added 2 tablespoon of AH-SO sauce with Pork and marinaded for a few hours, came out real tender. I BBQ both times. I don't have sherry but I do have cooking wine so I used that. I can't wait to try steak, we aren't steak eater my DH can't chew it that well, so I need a real tender steak I hope this will do it. Thanks
