My Mother-in-Law gave me this recipe. I tell you, my kids eat it up. This is a very easy meal to prepare for last minute dinners. The mushrooms are optional, if you don't have them use canned, but it is delicious with or without them. Enjoy!

  1. Cook ground beef; drain.
  2. Add all ingredients except the sour cream.
  3. Cook down.
  4. Mix in sour cream right before serving.
  5. Serve over rice or egg noodles.

This was a super easy and fast recipe. The sauce is creamy and the mustard adds a nice zing. I served this over rice instead of noodles because that was all I had. My DH thought it was delicious and he can be very picky about his food. I will use this again soon. Thank you for posting it.

This is a simple, yet satisfying main dish that doesn't take long to make. I used canned mushrooms and have used yogurt before, when I was out of sour cream and it still turned out great. This doubles well. This is going in my keeper file -- thanks for sharing!

Easy and yummy! A great way to prepare Stroganoff for families. Although, we prefer the beef version.
