Easy Stove Top Stuffing Meatloaf

Threw this together one night. I see several variations out there. This one is super easy and delicious.

Directions

  1. Mix first four ingredients in a large bowl.
  2. Pat into an 8 X 8 square pan.
  3. Pread a thin layer of ketchup on top.
  4. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.

I've had this recipe tucked away under my Main's cookbook for some time now and while looking for something different to do w/my hamburg came upon your recipe. I have a good meatloaf recipe posted as well, but this one is simpler and just as tasty. A great use of stove-top stuffing mix and great flavor to boot. I used SweetBabyRay's BBQ sauce in place of ketchup. Thanks~

This is a very easy recipe to make with very little effort. I used milk instead of the water. I think next time I'll add some sauted onions into the mixture. I'll be making this again when I'm pressed for time. Made for *My 3 Chefs 2009* game my theme was *Meatloaf*

Made this exactly to recipe, other than I substituted barbeque sauce for the ketchup. I then glazed the outside of the loaf with ketchup to seal in the juices. Baked the hour recommended at 350 degrees, and it turned out very moist, juicy and PERFECT! Hubby-approved! He said, "Hmmm...this is VERY TASTY! You can make this again!" My meatloaf usually falls apart when you cut it, but this stayed together and sliced very well. Will make again! Can't wait to have leftover COLD meatloaf sandwiches from it tomorrow... IF there is any leftover! Husband has gone back for thirds!!! Thanks for the recipe!
