This was very good, but I thought it was a bit too sweet. I would definitely lessen the brown sugar. I added crushed red pepper and black pepper, and served it with chicken, broccoli, and linguine.

Made it last night for my very picky family, and they loved it.. I didn't have ginger in the cupboard, so I omitted it -- but I think it needs that extra spice.. Will definitely be a favourite. Marlene H. ONtario, Canada

I followed the recipe as written, however I used a 1/2 tsp garlic powder b/c I didn't have reg garlic. It turned out okay. Mine never really thickened up, but it had great flavor. I will probably try this recipe again, and just use more cornstarch next time.

This was really good. All I did was add a little bit of Sriracha to make it a little spicy. This will be my go to stir fry sauce from now on!

This was good but next time I'll add the garlic and ginger to the oil for stirfrying so it flavors the veggies. Made 1/2 recipe and used for one meal. DH likes it with extra sauce. Served with rooster sauce on the side for those of us who like it hot!

Sign in or create an accountThis was super easy and tasted great! I used about a tablespoon of minced fresh ginger (instead of ground), and I did add about two tablespoons of oyster sauce (should be available in the Chinese/ethnic aisle of your supermarket), and a touch of Chinese chili paste for a little kick. I think even without those additions it would be good. It makes enough for at least two stir-frys!

Good basic sauce - easy to make ahead, but seemed to lack something. I cut the recipe in 1/2 so maybe my measurements were off. Worked ok w/chicken and veggies

This was a good basic stir fry sauce recipe. I wasn't sure how much to use for 1.3 # of chicken thighs, a bag of stir-fry veggies and 1/2 bag of brocc, so I used about 2/3 of it. I figured out after making this that I like my stir fry really sweet or really garlicy, and this was a little of both, but not strongly on either side. I added 1/2 can of pineapple to up the sweetness and it helped, but I think I'll go back to making #24306 as a sweet stir fry and try to find a more garlic-y recipe for us. Thanks!

Yum! :) I used fresh ginger, added more garlic & some crushed red chili & used 1/4 cup each of dark & light soy. Next time I'll mix the cornflour with a tiny bit of water before adding it to the rest of the wet ingredients to be sure it's free of lumps. Thanks for sharing! :)

This goes together quickly and was perfect for a chicken stir-fry. It is much more economical than prepackaged and is made from ingredients on hand. Everything went into the Vita-Mix container and whirled for a couple of seconds. Something I will use again. Thanks much for posting.

This sauce was awesome! My husband, who does not like stir-fry, ate two helpings! Maybe I'll be able to stir-fry more often! Thank you!
