I just found this recipe, and can instantly review it. I was eating the exact same thing at the time! This is one of my favourite ways to eat smoked oysters, though the crackers or type of cheese may change.

Very good. We used Ritz cracker and my DH really likes these. Per another reviewers suggestion, I will try tabasco next time. Thanks for posting.

Had these for our Super Bowl party. They were good but they Triscuits got soggy in a very short time. Think this was because I used whipped cream cheese. Next time I will use the regular kind that the recipe called for. Then they will be excellent.

Very good. I had forgotten how tasty smoked oysters are! Althought the trisquits would have been great, I used sliced french bread. I added a few drops of pick-a-peppa hot sauce to each one, but it would have been great without. I will definitely make this again.

This is one of my guilty pleasures! I have not yet made it for friends but I will sit and eat an entire can of smoked oysters this way all by myself! I like to use whipped cream cheese so I don't break too many crackers. Great with a glass of red wine! Thinly sliced baggette works well too.

This is great. Try a sprinkle of tabasco sauce on the cream cheese to fire it up a notch as well.
