This was a basic chicken nugget recipe which was good but nothing fancy until I added the sauce; that really transformed it into something really delicious. We loved this.
I saw some reviewers mentioned "nuggets", so I chopped up 1.87 pounds of chicken and the breadcrumb mix just made it. I will make this again because my picky 3-year-old gobbled it up and asked for more. But next time I'll just cook the nuggets 25-30 minutes; they were overdone at 37-or-so when I took them out. We loved this recipe! I used fresh breadcrumbs from a loaf of whole grain bread with pecans. I used fresh paprika which really gave a great flavor to the chicken and the sauce complemented it well. I would make this again! Quick, Easy and yummy!!! Thanks Jen! *Photo Tag*
Very Good! I served this chicken with Rice. My boyfriend said it smelled like Chinese food in the kitchen while I was making this.
We liked this dish but my husband said the chicken lacked a little bit in flavor. But, the apricot sauce was so delicious that once he tried it with the sauce he loved it. So, I guess, you could spice up the chicken a little more and then serve with the sauce. Oh, next time I will cut the chicken into pieces so we can serve it over rice like stir-fry.
Wow, just had a party of 12 and every single guest RAVED about this dish, I took a peek and their plates were totally bare! Practically licked clean. I added 1/8 tsp. white pepper and 1/4 tsp. ginger to the sauce. I added part black sesame seeds for interest. This recipe is very straight forward, EASY and really delicious! Thanks, making it tomorrow night for the family. Yes, it is that good.
