Easy Salsa

READY IN: 20mins
Recipe by sillysyd

A coworker of mine brought her homemade salsa in to work. I loved it so much I wanted to make it myself, but forgot exactly what and how much of everything she put into it. And combined with a little bit of laziness, this is the result. Loved and requested by friends.

This is a good basic salsa that's quick to make. I definitely felt it needed some salt added, though, so I tossed in about 1 tsp. Thanks for posting! Made for PAC Fall 2011

  • 1 (16 ounce) canchopped tomatoes with green chilies
  • 12 red onion, coarsely chopped
  • 1 jalapeno, coarsley chopped (or hotter peppers depending on personal taste)
  • 34 cup cilantro leaf
  • 12 cup lemon juice
  • 34 teaspoon chili lime seasoning

Directions

  1. In food processor add onion, jalapeno, and cilantro leaves. Process until chopped evenly.
