Easy Salisbury Steaks

I came up with this as a last minute meal and have made it ever since. I usually make up a big batch of the steaks and keep them in the freezer for an even quicker meal!

Ingredients Nutrition

  • Steaks

  • 12 cup breadcrumbs
  • 12 cup milk
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 12 cup onion
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • Gravy

  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 12 cup milk
  • 2 packets brown gravy mix

  1. For Steaks- Mix all steak ingredients together and make into patties (I usually get around 5).
  2. Bake at 350F for about 20 minutes (you can also fry in skillet as you would cheeseburgers).
  3. For Gravy- Mix together in skillet and add steaks!
  4. Enjoy!

It wasn't the best Salisbury Steak recipe I've eaten but it was still quite tasty. The plus side that it was extremely easy to make, although I would forgo heating the gravy up with the burger in the skillet, and instead just heat it up in a microwave and dump it over the steaks on a serving platter. Served it with instant mashed potatoes and canned peas. Quick and filling.
