Easy and tasty. I doubled most of the ingredients for 4 fillets.
This was so easy and so flavorful. My picky husband even liked it!
What a delicious recipe! It was a big hit at our table. The only thing I did different was to add a little white wine after the onions were cooked to deglaze the pan, and get all that wonderful carmel colored stuff off the bottom of the pan. It really made the onions sweeter, more golden in color, and was the perfect flavor compliment to the fish. When DH says he wants a fish recipe again, I put it in my favorite fish cookbook! Wonderful recipe, and easy, too. Tasty without a heavy sauce...just how I love fish. I will make this again for sure!

I'm not a big fish eater, but I have seen lots of recipes for this fish. Finally bought two fillets to try. Looking for a recipe to try, I came here to the "Fishman" (just see his photos!) I used a whole tbls. of fresh lemon juice and only 1/2 a tbls. of olive oil (to keep fat level down). Sprayed a non-stick pan with oil spray before adding oil. Had fresh thyme from my neighbor to use. Well, for a person who eats little fish, this is a recipe I will repeat again and again. Thanks, friend.
