ingredients
- 1 package frozen hash browns
- 1 carton small ranch dip
- 1 can cream of potato soup
- to taste salt and pepper
- dried onion
- 4 -5 ounces cheddar cheese, grated
directions
- Mix 1st 4 ingredients.
- Put into crockpot. Place grated cheese on top.
- I cooked on high for about 4 hours.
- They were delicious.

I made this recipe for Cookbook Tag, but am not rating it because of technical difficulties. After following the directions exactly, which states to cook in a crockpot for four hours on high, I checked them in about 2 1/2 hours and my hashbrowsn had cooked so much they were more like lumpy mashed potatoes. The recipe didn't state what type of hashbrowns to use, so I used the country style, which would cook a little faster, but not that fast! I used my new crockpot and perhaps it cooks alot faster than the chef that posted the recipe. All that being said the taste was just fair.
