Many breakfast sausages have wheat flour or bread crumbs as a binder. These are easy to make and are guaranteed Gluten Free. If you want patties add the egg and rice flour. If you want just fried up pork sausage hamburger, leave out the egg and rice flour.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 lb ground lean pork
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 14 teaspoon pepper
  • 12 teaspoon sage
  • 18 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 14 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 14 teaspoon thyme
  • 14 teaspoon hot red pepper (optional)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon rice flour

Directions

  1. Mix altogether and form into patties.
  2. Fry in frying pan until done.

Thank you for sharing this recipie. It has become a staple in our family. I love it for two reasons; it's gluten-free and I can used lean ground pork, which is more to my liking than the coarse ground, fatty pork found in most sausage. The seasoning has nice balanced flavor but is not too strong so is suitable for the whole family.
