I have not tried this. I'm posting it for a board request for an easy to make Popover recipe.It certainly fits the easy bill :)

Theses were quite yummy. They felt like a dish i could eat because my palate is very picky. They were savoury puffs you could just sink your teeth into. Although i think the amount of salt has to be reduced to a pinch because my results were too savoury, the salt overpowers the sugar quite a bit. But i still loved it. Thanks for curbing my cravings!! will definitely try it again.

Ingredients Nutrition


  1. Mix the eggs.
  2. Add the milk, salt sugar and flour and hand mix for one minute.
  3. Do not over-mix!
  4. Pre-heat popover pan with ½ teaspoon vegetable oil in each cup for 10 minutes.
  5. When hot, fill each cup with popover mix 3/4 full.
  6. Bake for 10 minutes at 400 degrees.
  7. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and cook for an additional 35 minutes.
  8. Be sure popovers are cooked inside to prevent collapsing.
  9. Always use a cookie sheet as a drip pan for excess grease when the popover pops!
